Art Illustration Design

Alexandra has been selling her art work since 2004 and continues to undertake commissions and exhibit her pieces both nationally and internationally.

With a continued interest in good food and sound animal husbandry combined with a love of the countryside, Alexandra creates painted portraits of British farm animals. Alexandra aims to capture the essence of their spirit and promote the individual within the herd with a view to greater consideration and understanding of our colourful world. From inheriting a box of oil paints to creating large contemporary paintings, Alexandra's work is now in high demand.

Alexandra also enjoys visual puzzle solving, creating illustrations and pattern designs with a bold graphic style and a passion for colour.

Creative Workshops

"I have just completed an art course and a workshop with Alex.  I absolutely loved every moment, and am so pleased with my creations (I'm a beginner).  It has inspired me to really develop my artistic skills, and I now look at my environment differently - every where I turn I see something I could draw or paint!   Alex is very encouraging, inspirational and has lots of creative ideas.  I am hoping to continue with her classes and workshops.  I wish I had had Alex as my art teacher at school - I would have definitely have chosen art instead of science!"  Sarah, Fairford.

As someone who lacks confidence in this area, I was apprehensive about the day ahead, but from the moment I entered the studio I was made to feel at ease. Alexandra the tutor skilfully gave us the encouragement and confidence we needed to try a range of techniques…...... Her support was friendly, constructive and certainly made me take risks I might not otherwise have taken.”  Jo, Broadway.
